Troubleshooting

Q. How do I enable microphone and camera access?

A. Upon entering a room, pop-ups will occur to request access to turn on both your camera and microphone. Make sure you allow access, without doing so, you will not be able to interact with others on the platform.

You can make sure you’ve granted access to both the microphone and camera by clicking on the lock icon 🔒next to the URL in your browser. If it isn’t currently enabled, make sure to do so and then refresh the page.

Q. What if I don’t see my feed in the bottom right corner?

A. This is an indicator that your audio and video are not connected properly. Please check the lock icon 🔒 next to your URL and make sure your microphone and camera are enabled. After that make sure to refresh that page before logging on again.

Q. How do I know my camera and microphone are working?

A. Upon joining an event, it should take about 3-5 seconds for audio and video to connect. In the meantime you should expect to see a light blue loading screen in place of the video feeds of other users. You’ll know it is working when you can see and hear others.

If you can’t see or hear others, check the following:

  • Make sure you’ve granted access to both the microphone and camera by clicking on the lock icon 🔒next to the URL in your browser. If it isn’t currently enabled, make sure to enable it and then refresh the page.
